Michael Mols strikers’ coach at FC Utrecht
Michael Mols has started as strikers’ coach at FC Utrecht. FC Utrecht’s former striker has been appointed till the end of this season. Foeke Booy said that this was the express wish of the coaches. ‘Besides giving advices Michael Mols is going to find out whether the job of coach specializing in a certain field is what he really wants. We are glad that a former FC Utrecht player is connected to the club again.”

Mols played for FC Utrecht in two periods. From 1996 till 1999 and between 2004 and 2005 he played in 108 matches in which he made fifty goals. Michael Mols will be involved in the first team till the end of this season. Next season Marinus Dijkhuizen will come to FC Utrecht as strikers’ coach.

Five youth coaches renew their contracts
By contracting five youth coaches for more than one year, FC Utrecht ensured the continuation of the youth training college. Robin Pronk (A1), Ab Plugboer (B1), Robert Roest (C1), Robert Wijnands (C2) and Dijar Kasim (D1) all signed contracts for two more years.

2,500 visitors at Fan Village
The first Fan Village opened  previous to before the match against FC Groningen. Almost 2,500 visitors looked around and took part in the activities in the Fan Village. A lot of dads with their sons and their friends not forgetting the mothers with their daughters, were entertained for more than two hours before the match against FC Groningen.

Practice matches against ASWH and Elinkwijk
In the first week of April, the week before Easter, FC Utrecht will be playing two practice matches. On Wednesday 4 April, they will be playing in Hendrik Ido Ambacht against ASWH. On Thursday 5 April, one day later, they will be playing against Elinkwijk in Utrecht. Both matches start at 7.30 p.m. Because of the final of the KNVB Cup on Easter Sunday, 8 April next, there are no matches scheduled in the Eredivisie in the Easter weekend.

FC4YOU on match shirts
The logo of FC4YOU, the social  arm of the club,  will be printed on the back of FC Utrecht's shirts till the end of this season. “FC Utrecht set great store by their social activities. They are a part of our club”, Managing Director Wilco van Schaik says. ”We realize that we really can contribute socially. We want a higher profile than in the past. That’s why the name FC4YOU will be on the back of FC Utrecht’s shirts next Sunday. We are proud it will be."
